Medical Interchange – the Future! - Monday, February 18, 2008

The Healthcare and Medical Technologies Theme Group proudly unveiled its new name and logo at MEDTEC 2008, the annual medical technologies event held at the NEC on the 13th and 14th of February.
Thousands of visitors to the exhibition were able to find out about all of the exciting areas of medical technology that our nine universities are involved in. They could talk to individual members of the group, and listen to a selection of nine wide-ranging seminars taking place over the two days, outlining the work that individual institutions have carried out in partnership with companies and other organisations in the healthcare and medical technologies field.
“Medical Interchange” – the new name for the Healthcare and Medical Technologies Theme Group – aims to establish the West Midlands as a Centre of Excellence for Higher Education and Applied Research in Healthcare and Medical Technologies.

Contact Features at the Festival of Innovation - Tuesday, November 27, 2007Contact was one of more than 120 exhibitors to attend the first ever Festival of Innovation, which took place at the NEC on November 15th 2007.
